This website is provided by The Dante Leigh Foundation. Please read these conditions, legal notices and disclaimers carefully before using the site. Your use of the site constitutes your agreement to abide by these conditions, legal notices and disclaimers.

Our Privacy Policy also forms part of these Terms and Conditions and should be read in conjunction with them. We use, store and process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our websites, you agree to our use, storage and processing of your information in accordance with that Policy.

While this site is constantly monitored and updated, The Dante Leigh Foundation accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of the information.

The content of the site is provided for general information only and is not intended as specific advice. Users who rely on the information contained within this website do so at their own risk. The information is made available for public use solely on the basis that The Dante Leigh Foundation excludes to the extent lawfully permitted any and all liability for any loss or damage to data or computer systems which result from use of this site.

1. Shopping Terms and Conditions

All shop item sizes and weights are approximate. Supplies of goods are subject to availability. If occasionally an item is not available, a carefully selected alternative may be sent. If the substitute item is not acceptable, please contact mail@danteleighfoundation.org.uk within seven days to arrange for the return of the goods and a full refund will be issued. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you find that you are unhappy with the quality or value of any item or if your goods are damaged in transit, please return it to us within 14 days of receipt. We guarantee to replace or refund your money.

We currently deliver goods to all UK addresses with a Royal Mail postcode. Please contact our team for queries regarding delivery to addresses outside of the UK. Please allow 28 days for deliveries.

Please email mail@danteleighfoundation.org.uk if you would like to discuss any complaint regarding a Dante Leigh Foundation shop item. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within seven working working days.

On receipt of the goods, if you wish to cancel the order for any reason, you need to do so within seven working days (the cancellation period starts the day after the day the goods are received). You may be asked to pay for the cost of returning the goods but the original payment (including postage and packing) will otherwise be refunded in full within 30 days of cancellation.

2. Intellectual Property

  • The Dante Leigh Foundation are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it, expect where otherwise stated.
  • Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world.
  • All such rights are reserved.
  • Commercial use or publication of all or any item displayed is strictly prohibited without prior written authorisation.
  • You are permitted to print and download extracts from our websites for your personal non-commercial use and for private study or teaching purposes, provided in each case that copyright and source indications are also printed and copied, no modifications are made to the materials and they are not used as part of any other publication, any document is printed and copied entirely and is not used in a derogatory or misleading context, the material is not used in a manner which may damage our reputation or otherwise be harmful to us or impair our ability to achieve our charitable objects; and our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content must always be acknowledged.
  • No other use of material on our websites may be made without first obtaining our written permission. In particular, you must not do the following unless you have first obtained our written permission – incorporate any material from our websites in any other work or publication, whether in hard copy or electronic form, make any commercial use or publication of any material on our websites (other than as necessary for the purpose of viewing our sites in the course of business), if you wish to use any material on our websites other than in accordance with this term, please email mail@danteleighfoundation.org.uk with a permission request.
  • The photographic, text and other graphic images within any products or publications supplied to you are copyright works and none of them may be copied, reproduced, licensed or otherwise exploited.

3. Content Disclaimer

Some of the images and videos used on our website are sourced from various royalty-free platforms across the web. This is done so that, in places where we are unable to procure our own content, we can demonstrate our charitable work in a visually engaging way that aligns with our vision. The platforms we use provide a wide range of visual content that can be used by anyone, including for commercial purposes, without the need to pay royalties or seek explicit permission from the content creator. We have diligently selected and used these images and videos in accordance with the terms and conditions of these platforms.

Please note that, despite our best efforts, it is possible for unintentional errors or oversights to occur. If you believe that any content on our website violates copyright laws or infringes upon your intellectual property rights, kindly notify us immediately on mail@danteleighfoundation.org.uk. We will promptly investigate the matter and take necessary action to resolve any valid claims.

4. Non-endorsement Policy

This site contains links to other sites which The Dante Leigh Foundation provides for the user’s information and convenience only. The Dante Leigh Foundation does not control or monitor these other sites, nor does their inclusion mean that The Dante Leigh Foundation recommends or endorses these sites, the organisations or companies that run the sites or anything contained within the sites. We reserve the right to withdraw any of these links at any time.

If you wish to link to The Dante Leigh Foundation site, you must link to the Homepage found at https://www.danteleighfoundation.org.uk, and we request you inform us that you are doing so by contacting mail@danteleighfoundation.org.uk. You may not link to any other area of the site without prior written permission from us. The Dante Leigh Foundation logo may not be used without prior consent. At our discretion, and at any time, we reserve the right to withdraw any permissions given to link to this site, and we are under no obligation to maintain current pages linked to a site.

5. Outbound Non-promotional Email Disclaimer

Any views or opinions expressed within outbound non-promotional emails are solely those of the author and do not represent those of The Dante Leigh Foundation unless specifically stated. The email and any files attached are intended for the addressee only. If you received an email in error, please notify the sender and delete from your system. Although virus-checking software is active on our emails and any attachments, The Dante Leigh Foundation does not accept any responsibility for viruses.

6. SMS Donations

The SMS donations services to The Dante Leigh Foundation are supplied to us by a third party provider. We are therefore not liable for any delays or failures in your receipt of any SMS messages. Delivery is subject to transmission from your network operator and processing by your mobile phone device.

Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your mobile number, your carrier’s name, and the date, time and content of your messages and other information that you may provide.

Single SMS donation

Donation SMS messages will be charged at at your standard network rate, plus one more message at your standard network rate. 100% of your donation will be received by The Dante Leigh Foundation. Consent from the bill payer is required. The Dante Leigh Foundation does not receive any payment from networks for standard rate texts. The Dante Leigh Foundation will not appear as the message sender on your phone bill. The number you sent the message to (for example 70085) will appear instead.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
